٣٣٣٢ - الكاهن زهير بن جناب بن هبل بن عبد الله بن كنانة بن بكر بن عوف بن عذرة الكلبيّ الأمير. (٢) ذكره عزّ الدين علي بن محمّد بن الأثير الموصليّ الجزريّ في تاريخه وقال: هو أحد من اجتمعت عليه قضاعة وكان يدعى الكاهن لصحّة رأيه وعاش مائتين وخمسين سنة، أوقع فيه مائتي وقعة، وكان شجاعا ميمون النقيبة وذكر أنّ ابرهة حين طلع إلى نجد أتاه زهير فأكرمه وفضّله على من أتاه من العرب وأقره على بكر وتغلب ابني وايل فوليهم، ولما طال عمره استخلف ابن أخيه عبد الله بن عليم ثمّ رأى منه ما يكره فشرب الخمر صرفا حتى مات.
