(٣) ذكره عماد الدين في الخريدة وقال: رأيته شيخا قد طعن في السّنّ يتردّد إلىالوزير وأرباب الدولة، وشعره مستقيم اللفظ والمعنى معسول مقبول ومن شعره: وصالك لي مثل خبز الوزير ... يواصل يوما ويعتاص شهرا وله: إذا مدحتك لا أدري على ملك ... في الدّست أتلو مديحي أم على بشر أدنو إليك ونور البشر يحجبني ... كأنّني واقف في دارة القمر وتوفّي في سنة خمس وخمسين وخمسمائة.
