٣٢٢٠ - كاشف الحصير كعب بن ربيعة بن عمرو بن عامر القيسيّ الفارس. (١) ذكره هشام الكلبي في كتاب جمهرة النّسب وقال: كان للملوك جبّ فيها سباع وعلى الجبّ حصير فكان ملك إذا غضب على الرّجل طرحه بينها، فوفد قوم على المنذر بن النعمان الحيرة وكعب بن ربيعة فيهم، فلما دنوا من الجبّ قال كعب: ما هذا الحصير؟ قيل: سباع لملك، فقال كعب: أنا أكشف الحصير، وتقدّم واخترط سيفه وكشف الحصير فخرجت السباع فلم يتحرّك من موضعه فخلع عليه الملك وسمّي كاشف الحصير.
