٣٢١٩ - كاتب الوحي أبو خارجة زيد بن ثابت بن الضّحّاك الأنصاريّ الكاتب بالعربيّة والعبرانيّة. (١)ذكره محمد بن سعد كاتب الواقدي في الطبقة الثّالثة من الأنصار. وقال زيد: قدم النبيّ ﷺ وأنا ابن احدى عشرة سنة وقال لي يا زيد تعلّم لي كتاب يهود، قال: فتعلّمته في سبعة عشر يوما، وبعد وفاة النّبيّ ﷺ [اهتمّ] بجمع القرآن فاشتغل به، وكان عمر ﵁ يستخلف زيد بن ثابت إذا حجّ وإذا سافر، وتوفّي سنة خمس وأربعين وقيل سنة خمسين وقيل سنة إحدى وخمسين.
