٢٩٧٦ - قمر الدين أبو النجم المبارك بن عبد الباقي بن المبارك الواسطي المقرئ. كان حافظا لكتاب الله تعالى كثير التلاوة له، كثير الاطلاع على معانيه، والتدبّر لما في مطاويه، من ضرب الأمثال وترك الكلام فيما لا يليق من الاعتراض والجدال، وأنشد بعض أصحابه: توقّ معاداة الرجال فإنّها ... مكدّرة للصفو من كل مشرب ولا تستثر حربا وان كنت واثقا ... بشدة ركن أو بقوة مركب فلن يشرب السمّ الزعاف أخو حجى ... مدلاّ بترياق لديه مجرّب
