٢٧٣٥ - قريش أبو مالك النضر بن كنانة بن خزيمة بن مدركة بن إلياس بن مضر بن نزار بن معد بن عدنان. (٢) وأمه برّة بنت مرّ أخت تميم بن مرّ. اليه ينتهي نسب القرشيين وقد قيل الى فهر بن مالك بن النضر. قرأت بخط الشريف النّسابة! قال: سمّي النضر قريشا بسمكة فى البحر يقال لها قريش وهي أحسن السمك، فسمّي النّضر بها لجماله وحسنه، قال الشاعر: وقريش هي التي تسكن البح ... ر بها سمّيت قريش قريشا وقد فسّر أهل اللغة معني قريش على وجوه أحسنها أن التقريش هو التفتيش، وكان النضر يفتش عن خلة الناس فيسدّها بفضله.
