٢٧٢٨ - القثم أبو القاسم محمد بن عبد الله بن عبد المطلب الهاشمي النبيّ - صلّى الله عليه وسلّم -. قد شرفنا كتابنا هذا بأخباره ومحاسن آثاره والله يوفقنا ببركته لإتمام (١) هذا الكتاب الذي وضعناه وجمعناه في محاسن العلماء، إنه جواد كريم، وحيث قد ذكرنا في الفصل المتقدم أسماء سلاحه، فنقول: كان اسم فرس رسول الله ﷺ المرتجز، وعلف سهل بن سعد ثلاثة أفراس للنبي ﵇ وأسماؤهن: لزاز واللحيف والظراب ويقال الظرب، وله الورد وملاوح واليعسوب وذو العقال والسكب والبحر، وكان يركب البحر وكان كميتا.
