    [القاف] مع الباء ٢٧٢٠ - قبلة الأدب أبو الحسن علي (١) بن أحمد بن أحمد البغدادي الأديب. ذكره كمال الدين ابن الشعار في كتاب «تحفة الكبراء» وقال: هو سبط الشيخ أبي العز بن (٢) كادش، ذكره ابن النجار في تاريخه (٣) وقال: كان قبلة الأدبمن [أهل] باب المراتب وكان أديبا فاضلا وشاعرا سريع البديهة كثير الهجو. ومن شعر قبلة الأدب: اعتدل الناس في النذالة والجه ... ل وضاقت مسالك المتسالك فمن جحيم الى لظى سقر ... ونحن من هالك الى مالك قال: وذكر لي ابن أخته عبيد الله (١) بن المبارك أن خاله قبلة الأدب توفي سنة سبعين وخمسمائة.
