٢٦٨٢ - القاضي أبو الحسن علي بن أبي الفضل محمد بن يوسف بن محفوظ الحلبي يعرف بالسمان الشاعر. ذكره كمال الدين ابن الشعار الموصلي في كتاب «عقود الجمان» وقال: كان ينعت بالقاضي وقال شعرا كثيرا ولم يمدح أحدا مستميحا لشرف نفسه. وأنشد له من أبيات أوّلها: ألا قم نديمي بنا واعجل ... نروح الى الراح في الأوّلمنها: خليليّ هبّا فقد صفّقت ... شمولكما نفحة الشمأل فشرب الكرام بنات الكروم ... بظل الغصون على الجدول إذا نشر الروض أزهاره ... وقامت طواويسه تنجلي وتوفي شعبان سنة ثلاث وعشرين وستمائة ودفن بالجبيل شمالي قلعة حلب.
