٢٤٧٩ - فخر الدين أبو المعالي مسعود بن يحيى بن اسحاق الحموي الكاتب. كان كاتبا فصيحا له رسائل منها ما كتبه في التهنئة بنصف شعبان: «عرّفالله مولانا خلّد الله دولته القاهرة وأدام أيامه النيرة الزاهرة، ببركة هذا اليوم السعيد والميقات الجديد، وقسم له في شريف ليلته من العمر أطوله ومن الملك أتمّة وأكمله وهنّأه بما خوّله من سلطانه وأسبغ على جميع الامم فواضل بره وإحسانه».
