١٨٤٩ - فارس البطحاء أبو عمرو هشام بن الوليد بن المغيرة بن عبد الله بن عمر بن مخزوم بن يقظة بن مرة بن كعب بن لؤيّ المخزومي الجواد (١). كان من فرسان قريش وأجوادهم وهو أبو عمرو بن هشام المكنى بأبي الحكم المعروف بأبي جهل وكان هشام من فرسان الجاهلية المعدودين وكان يقال له «فارس البطحاء» وأبو لبيد بن عبدة من بني حجير بن عبد ومعيص بن عامر بن لؤي وضرار بن الخطاب المحاربيّ من بني فهد بن مالك وهبيرة بن أبي وهب المخزوميّ وعكرمة بن أبي جهل عمرو بن هشام المخزوميّ (٢).
