١٥٦٨ - علاء الدين علي بن أبي الفرج بن مازن الكردي الموصلي الصوفي (١). كان من الصوفية أرباب المعاني والآداب، سمع الكثير من كتب الصوفية وآدابهم. وكان قد سافر الكثير ولقي المشايخ والأصحاب. ١٥٦٩ - علاء الدين علي (٢) بن بدر الدين لؤلؤ بن عبد الله الموصلي الأمير. ذكروا عنه أنه لما رأى ما جرى على الناس ببغداد وتوفي والده توجه إلى البلاد الشامية والديار المصرية وأنه اشتغل بالتجارة ولم يتّسم عندهم بالإمارة، أنشد بعض من أمره بجمع المال وترك الإنفاق: يقولون أبق المال واجمعه ممسكا ... فعزّ الفتى في أن يجمّ ثراؤه فقلت كلانا لا محالة هالك ... فأهون عندي من فنائي فناؤه
