١٣٩٧ - العميد أبو القاسم الفيّاض بن علي بن القاسم الهرويّ الأديب (١). ذكره ابن الشعّار في كتابه وقال: قرأت في تاريخ هراة للفامي أبي النضر أنّ مولده في سوسقان هراة، وهو واسطة عقدها، وكان الوزير نظام الملك قد اختصه بخدمته وكان حلو الكلام، سهل الألفاظ مليح المعاني، وأنشد له في غلام قطعت أصداغه: قطعت أصداغك عن حجّة ... وكان فيها متعة العاشق قد سرقت كل قلوب الورى ... والقطع محكوم على السارق وكتب إليه أبو زكريا التبريزي جوابا عن أبيات كتبها إليه: قل للعميد أخي الندى الفيّاض ... أنا قطرة من بحرك الفيّاض في أبيات، وأنشد له أشعارا لا تليق بهذا المختصر.
