١٣٥٩ - العميد أبو طاهر خلف بن الحسن الخوارزمي. كان من أكابر ... خراسان وأعيان هذه الدولة، وفيه يقول الشيخ الأديب علي بن الحسن بن أبى الطيب [الباخرزي] وكان بينهما مودة [أكيدة]:أأرعى السفوح ولي همّة ... [مطنّبة] في نواصي القنن (١) وآسى وفي الأرض مثل العمي ... د أبي طاهر خلف [بن الحسن]؟! جهير النداء كثير الندى ... جزيل ال [عطاء] رحيب العطن ونيطت عرا الملك من رائه ... بعضد الدهاء معن مفنّ منها: إذا تاه في الناس ... ... تداركنا منه سلوى ومنّ فسلوى وفيه لنا سلوة ... ومنّ ولم يتنغص بمنّ يهين كرائم أمواله ... ويشري الثناء بأغلى [ثمن] هو الروح في بدن المكر [مات ... وبالروح] يرجى بقاء البدن
