١٣٢٣ - عمدة الملك معزّ الأئمّة أبو الفضل وأبو الفتح بن الطيب الفارسي الكاتب الوزير (١). ذكره ابن الصابي في تاريخه وقال: ورد الكاتب من واسط في ذي القعدة سنة ثلاثين وأربعمائة بأن الملك العزيز استوزر معز الأمّة أبا الفضل بن الطيب وقرّر ألقابه عمدة الملك وناصر الدولة ومعز الأمة، وقد كان ذلك استقر له بإذن من ملك (٢) الملوك. ولما جرت الفتنة بالبطائح (٣) كتب أهل واسط إلى من بالصليق ليقبضوا على عمدة الملك وقد كانوا استوحشوا من الملك العزيز فأخذ عمدةالملك وأصعد به إلى واسط، فأتفق أهل واسط والرفقاء أن أخذوا عمدة الملك وقتلوه صبرا وذلك في سابع عشر شهر رمضان سنة اثنتين وثلاثين وأربعمائة.
