٧٤١ - عفيف الدين أبو القاسم محمد بن علي بن عقيل الحلي التاجر الأديب (١). ذكره لي ابن أخته صديقنا تقي الدين عبد الله بن محمد بن عقيل وقال: كان خالي عفيف الدين ظريفا أديبا تاجرا، سافر الى بلاد الشام قال: اتفق أنه هوى امرأة من بنات التجّار وشغف بها وعرف أهلها بذلك فأرادوا قتله، فرحل عن الحلّة وهام على وجهه وكان ينظم فيها الأشعار فمنها: جسام الدواهي في محلّي حلّت ... وأيدي الرزايا عقد صبري حلّت قال: وكان مولده بالحلة سنة ثمان وأربعين وستمائة.
