٥٨٥ - العزيز أبو سليمان داود بن أحمد بن اسماعيل الموصلي الأديب. كان أديبا فاضلا، له رسائل وكتاب جمع فيه نوادر الرسائل، من ذلك ما ذكر أنه من كلام عطاء بن يعقوب الغزنويّ: «أطال الله بقاء الشيخ في عز مرفوعكاسم كان وأخواتها إلى فلك الأفلاك، منصوب كاسم إنّ وذواتها الى سمك السماك، موصوف بصفة النماء موصول بصلة البقاء، مقصور على قضية المراد، ممدود الى يوم التناد» وهي طويلة.
