عبد القادر بن مصطفى يوسف الصفوري الأصل، الدمشقي: فقيه شافعى أصولي، نحوي، مفسر،محدث، أصله من صفورية - بفلسطين - ومولده ووفاته بدمشق، تعلم بها وبالقاهرة، ودخل بلاد الروم، ودرس في دار الحديث الأشرفية والجامع الأموي. قال المحبي: كان من أساطين أفاضل عصره، مشهور الذكر بعيد الصيت، فقيها، محدثا، مفسرا ..
