يوسف بن قزأوغلي - أو قزغلي - بن عبد الله، أبو المظفر، شمس الدين، سبط أبي الفرج ابن الجوزي: مؤرخ، محدث، واعظ، مفسر، ولد ببغداد، وبها نشأ تحت كنف جده لأمه أبي الفرج بن الجوزي. وانتقل إلى دمشق، فوعظ بها، ودرس وأفتى، وكان وافر الحرمة عند الملوك، وتوفي فيها. من كتبه "تفسير القرآن" في تسعة وعشرين مجلدا، وقيل: في سبعة وعشرين (٢).الأصم [... - ١٠٠٢ هـ / ... - ١٥٩٤ م]
