هاشم بن سليمان بن إسماعيل بن عبد الجواد الحسيني الكتكاني التوبلي: فقيه إمامى، مفسر، عارف بالعربيةوالرجال. نسبته إلى "توبلي" و "كتكان" من قرى البحرين، وتوفي ودفن بالأولى. له تصانيف كثيرة، قال صاحب روضات الجنات: "وكتبه مجرد جمع وتأليف، لم يتكلم في شيء منها على ترجيح في أقوال أو بحث أو اختيار مذهب، ولا أدري إن كان ذلك قصورا أم تورعا"، منها "البرهان في تفسير القرآن" طبع في مجلدين، و "الهادي وضياء النادي" في تفسير القرآن أيضا (١). ابن سلامة [... - ٤١٠ هـ / ... - ١٠١٩ م]
