محمد بن يوسف بن أحمد بن عبد الدائم، محب الدين الحلبي ثم المصري، المعروف بناظر الجيش: عالم بالعربية، مفسر، محدث، ولد بحلب، وبها نشأ وتعلم، ثم قدم القاهرة ولازم أبا حيان وغيره. ودرس التفسير بالمنصورية، وحج سنة ٧٣٢ هـ، ثم ولي نظر الجيش بالديار المصرية. قال ابن حجر: "كان عالي الهمة نافذ الكلمة كثير البذل والجود والرفد للطلبة والرفق بهم والمبالغة في السعي في قضاء حوائجهم". توفي بالقاهرة.
