محمد بن مسعود بن محمود الفالي السيرافي، قطب الدين: نحوي، مفسر، من أهل فال - بين شيراز وهرمز -. من آثاره "تقريب التفسير" مخطوط، وهو تلخيص الكشاف للزمخشري. قال صاحب كشف الظنون: "أتمه في التاسع من شوال سنة ٦٩٨ ببلدة شيراز، أولها الحمد لله الذي جعل كتابه الكريم مفتاحا للسرور ... الخ". أزال اعتزاله وبعض إطنابه، فهذب ونقح وضم إلى مواضع الانغلاق حلا وبيانا، وهو كتاب صغير الحجم، وجيز النظم، مشتمل على محض الأهم من الكشاف مع زيادات شريفة". وكان والده (انظر الفالي - مسعود بن محمود) من العلماء بالتفسير أيضا (٢).الزهري [٨٥ - ١٢٤ هـ / ٦٧٨ - ٧٤٢ م]
