محمد بن المستنير بن أحمد، أبو علي، الشهير بقطرب: من العلماء بالنحو واللغة والأدب، من أهل البصرة، من الموالي. أخذ النحو عن سيبويه، وهو الذي دعاه بقطرب فلزمه. وكان يرى رأي المعتزلة النظامية، فأخذ عن النظام مذهبه واتصل بأبي دلف العجلي وأدب أولاده. من تصانيفه "معاني القرآن" قيل: لم يسبق إلى مثله. و "إعراب القرآن" و "الرد على الملحدين في متشابه القرآن" (١). العياشي [... - نحو ٣٢٠ هـ / ... - نحو ٩٣٢ م]
