محمد بن عمر بن أحمد بن عمر بن محمد الأصبهاني المديني، أبو موسى: من حفاظ الحديث، المصنفين فيه. ونسبة "المديني" إلى مدينة أصبهان، ومولده ووفاته فيها. زار بغداد وهمذان. قال الصفدي: "كان واسع الدائرة في معرفة الحديث وعلله وأبوابه ورجاله وفنونه، لم يكن في وقته أعلم منه ولا أحفظ ولا أعلى سندا، وروى عنه جماعة من الحفاظ". من كتبه "المغيث" أكمل به كتاب الغريبين للهروي (١). السيغي [... - ... / ... - ...]
