محمد بن أحمد بن الحاج المكي بن أحمد بن علي، أبو الفتح السوسي: فقيه مالكي، عالم بالعربية، مشارك في التفسير والحديث، أصله من هشتوكة من جزولة، مولده ووفاته بمكناس، قال المنوني: اشتغل بالتدريس قرابة ستين عاما ابتداء من عام ١٣١١ هـ إلى وفاته. وكان آخر ما أقرأه من الدروس الليلية هو تفسير القرآن الكريم بالجلالين، واستمر فيه حتى شارف ختمه حيث وقف على سورة المعارج، فنزل به مرضه الذي توفي منه ..
