محمد بن أحمد بن علي بن محمد القيسي الشاطبي، أبو بكر، قطب الدين التوزري القسطلاني: عالم بالحديث ورجاله، فقيه، مشارك في بعض العلوم، أصله من توزر (بإفريقية) من بلاد قسطيلية. ولد بمصر، ونشأ بمكة. وقام برحلة سنة ٦٤٩ هـ فسمع ببغداد والجزيرة والشام ومصر. وطلب من مكة، وفوضت له مشيخة دار الحديث الكاملية بالقاهرة إلى أن توفي. قال الصفدي: "درس وأفتى، وكان شفي عالما عاملا، زاهداعابدا، جامعا للفضايل، كريم النفس، حسن الأخلاق، قليل المثل". من كتبه "تفسير آيات من القرآن الكريم" مخطوط (١). الخويي [٦٢٦ - ٦٩٣ هـ / ١٢٢٩ - ١٢٩٤ م]
