غالب بن عبد الرحمن بن غالب بن تمام بن عطية المحاربي، من محارب تيس، الغرناطي، أبو بكر: حافظ للحديث، لغوي، أديب، شاعر، عالم بالتفسير، من فقهاء المالكية، من أهل غرناطة، وبها نشأ وتعلم. وحج سنة ٤٦٩ هـ فأخذ عن علماء افريقية (تونس) ومصر والحجاز. وعاد، فتصدر ببلده للفتيا والتفسير والتدريس. وكشف بصره في آخر عمره. وهو والد العلامة المفسر عبد الحق بن عطية.
