علي بن محمد العقيبي الأنصاري، عفيف الدين: عالم شافعي، نحوي،مفسر، أصولي، كان محدث الديار اليمنية في وقته. من أهل تعز مولدا ونشأة ووفاة. نسبته إلى ذي عقب من قرى ذي جبلة باليمن الأسفل. رحل إلى الحرمين رحلتين أطال الغياب في ثانيتهما، وتصدر لإقراء الحديث والإجازة بالأمهات السبع. من كتبه "حاشية على تفسير الجلالين" ٢٠ كراسا (١). العاملي [... - ١١٤٠ هـ / ... - ١٧٢٨ م]
