علي بن محمد بن أبي القاسم بن محمد بن جعفر، من سلالة الهادي يحيى بن الحسين: مفسر يماني، من مجتهدي الزيدية. قال الشوكاني: "كان يقرىء الطلبة في جميع علوم الاجتهاد وفي الأمهات وسائر كتب التفسير، وذكر أن له "تفسيرا للقرآن" في ثمانية مجلدات. قال الزركلي: "منها جزء في شستربتي (٤١٩٥) أنجزه سنة ٧٨٩ هـ." وله "تجريد الكشاف" في التفسير أيضا، مخطوط، في مجلدين، في مكتبة خدابخش. قال الزركلي: "وأضاف إليه (أي الكشاف) لطائف ودقائق" (١). ابن خطيب الناصرية [٧٧٤ - ٨٤٣ هـ / ١٣٧٢ - ١٤٤٠ م]
