علي بن محمد بن علي، أبو الحسن الطبري، الملقب بعماد الدين، المعروف بالكيا الهراسي: فقيه شافعي، أصولي، متكلم، مفسر، ولد في طبرستان، وتفقه على إمام الحرمين، وقدم بغداد فسكنها، ودرس بالنظامية إلى أن مات. قال عبد الغافر الفارسي: "كان من رؤوس معيدي إمام الحرمين في الدرس، وكان ثاني أبي حامد الغزالي، بل آصل وأصلح وأطيب في الصوت والنظر، ثم اتصل بخدمة الملك بركيارق، وحظي عنده بالمال والجاه وارتفع شأنه، وتولى القضاء بتلك الدولة". واتهم بمذهب الباطنية فرجم، وأراد السلطان قتله فحماه المستظهر وشهد له. من كتبه "أحكام القرآن" مخطوط (١). العمراني [... - ٥٦٠ هـ / ... - ١١٦٥ م]
