عبد القاهر بن طاهر بن محمد بن عبد الله البغدادي التميمي الأسفراييني، أبو منصور: فقيه شافعي، أصولي، متكلم،مفسر، كان صدر الإسلام في عصره. ولد ونشأ في بغداد، ورحل مع أبيه إلى خراسان فاستقر في نيسابور. ودرس في سبعة عشر علما. ثم فارقها في أيام التركمان وفتنتهم إلى اسفرائين. قال الصابوني: "ومن خراب نيسابور اضطرار مثله إلى مفارقتها". وقال عبد الغافر الفارسي: "كان ذا مال وثروة، أنفقه على أهل العلم والحديث، حتى افتقر". مات بأسفرائين. من كتبه "الناسخ والمنسوخ" مخطوط، و "تفسير القرآن" (١). الجزجاني [.. - ٤٧١ هـ / .. - ١٠٧٨ م]
