عبد الغني بن إسماعيل بن عبد الغني النابلسي: شاعر، عالم بالدين والأدب، رحالة، متصوف، كان له إطلاع واسع على علوم عصره. تيتم صغيرا، ودخل في الطريقة القادرية والنقشبندية، ورحل إلىبغداد وأقام بها مدة، ثم تنقل في فلسطين ولبنان، وسافر إلى مصر والحجاز، ثم استقر في الصالحية بدمشق، وتوفي بها. له نحو ٢٢٣ مصنفا في التصوف والرحلة والأدب واللغة والشعر والتفسير والمنطق، منها "تحرير الحاوي بشرح تفسير البيضاوي - خ" (١). الثقفي [.. - ٢٢٩ هـ / .. - ٨٤٤ م]
