سعيد بن محمد بن محمد بن محمد (العقباني، التلمساني، أبو عثمان)العقباني، التلمساني، أبو عثمان: من أكابر فقهاء المالكية، قاض، مفسر، من أهل تلمسان، وكان إمامها وعلامتها في عصره، ومولده ووفاته بها. ولي قضاء مدينة "بجاية" في أيام السلطان أبي عنان المريني "والعلماء يومئذ متوافرون". كما ولي قضاء بلده تلمسان ووهران ومراكش وسلا، ومدة ولايته للقضاء نيف وأربعين سنة. قال صاحب نيل الابتهاج: "والعقباني نسبة إلى "عقبان" قرية بالأندلس، أصله منها، تجيبي النسب". من آثاره "تفسير سورة الأنعام" و "تفسير سورة الفتح" (١). الخادمي [.. - ١٢١٣ هـ / .. - ١٧٩٨ م]
