خليل بن كيكلدي بن عبد الله العلائي الدمشقي، أبو سعيد، صلاح الدين: محدث، أصولي، من فقهاء الشافعية، مشارك في أنواع من العلوم، كالتفسير والنحو والكلام الخ. ولد وتعلم فيدمشق، وسمع بمصر والحجاز. ثم ولي التدريس في المدرسة الصلاحية بالقدس، سنة ٧٣١ هـ وأقام بها إلى أن توفي. قال الداودي: "فسر آيات متفرقة، وأما الحديث فلم يكن في عصره من يدانيه فيه، وأما بقية علومه من فقه ونحو وتفسير وكلام، فكان في كل واحد منها حسن المشاركة". من كتبه "برهان التيسير في عنوان التفسير" (١). جابي [١٠٨٥ - ١١٣٤ هـ / ١٦٧٤ - ١٧٢٢ م]
