حمدي بن محمد حسن بن يوسف بن عبيد بن سليمان آغا: باحث، أديب، له اشتغال بالتفسير، من أهل دمشق، مولدا ووفاة، كان يعمل في العقادة، ثم انضم مع أخ له اسمه محمد توفيق، بعد الحرب العالمية الأولى، إلى أخيهما الثالث الأستاذ الأديب أحمد عبيد مؤسس المكتبة العربية في دمشق، نسبته إلى جد أبيه عبيد بن سليمان، وهو الذي تنتسب الأسرة إليه. من آثاره "تفسير غريب القرآن" طبعه على هامش المصحف (٢).الناشري [٨٣٣ - ٩٢٦ هـ / ١٤٣٠ - ١٥٢٠ م]
