الحسن بن أحمد بن محمد بن علي بن صلاح بن أحمد، الحسني العلوي، المعروف بالجلال: عارف بالتفسير والعربية والمنطق. ولد في هجرة رغافة - قرية بين الحجاز وصعدة. - وبها نشأ وتعلم، ثم رحل فسمع بصعدة وشهارة وصنعاء. واستوطن "الجراف" ومات فيها. قال الشوكاني: "كان الإمام المتوكل على الله إسماعيل بن القاسم يجله غاية الإجلال، ولا يعرف أهل الفضل إلا أهله". من كتبه "فتح الألطاف في تكملة الكشف على الكشاف، وفي التفسير (١). الداماد [.. - ١٢٢٣ هـ / .. - ١٨٠٨ م]
