أحمد بن يزيد بن عبد الرحمن بن أحمد بن بقي بن مخلد الأموي، أبو القاسم، ويعرف بابن بقي: قاضي القضاة بالمغرب، كانت له إمامة في اللغة وعلم العربية. من أهل قرطبة. ولي قضاء الجماعة بمراكش مضافا ذلك إلى خطتي المظالم والكتابة العليا، ثم ولي قضاء بلدة قرطبة. له كتاب في "الآيات المتشابهات"قيل أنه أحسن ما كتب في بابه، وكان لا يفارقه في سفر، ولا في حضر (١). ابن أصبع [.. - ٤٧٩ هـ / .. - ١٠٨٦ م]
