أحمد بن محمد بن عبد الكريم بن عطاء الله بن عبد الرحمن، أبو الفضل، وأبو العباس، تاج الدين، ابن عطاء الله الاسكندري: متصوف شاذلي من أشهر صوفيي زمانه، له مشاركة في علم التفسير والحديث والفقه والأصول والنحو وغير ذلك. من أهل الاسكندرية، قدم القاهرة وتكلم بالجامع الأزهر وغيره بكلام على طريقة القوم، فأحبه الناس وكثرت أتباعه، وكان من أشد خصوم شيخ الإسلام ابن تيمية. وتوفي بالمدرسة المنصورية فيها (٢).ابن البناء [٦٥٤ - ٧٢١ هـ / ١٢٥٦ - ١٣٢١ م]
