إبراهيم بن يزيد بن قيس بن الأسود، أبو عمران النخعي، من مذحج: فقيه العراق، تابعي، من أكابرهم صلاحا وصدق رواية وحفظا للحديث، من أهل الكوفة، ومن مشاهير مفسري مدرستها. روى عن علقمة ومسروق وخاله الأسود بن يزيد (راجع تراجمهم في هذا الكتاب) وغيرهم. ودخل على عائشة وهو صبي. قال الصفدي: كان إماما مجتهدا له مذهب. ولما بلغ الشعبي موته قال: والله ما ترك بعده مثله (١). ابن المرأة [.. - ٦١١ هـ / .. - ١٢١٤ م]
