    ٢٦٥٥ - عليّ بن مجاهد بن مسلم الكابُليّ: -بضم الموحدة- كذَّبه يحيى بنُ الضريس، وقال ابنُ معين في رواية: "كان يضع الحديث". وعدَّله بعضُهُم، ولكن الجرح مفسر. لذلك قال الحافظ في "التقريب": "متروك، وليسفي شيوخ أحمد أضعف منه". الصمت / ٢٠٥ ح ٣٨٠ *عليّ بن مجاهد الكابلي: روى عنه أحمد، وقال فيه يحيى بنُ معين: "كان يضع الحديث. وصنف كتاب المغازي فكان يضع للكل إسنادًا" اهـ. فرواية العدل عمن سماه ليست بتعديل له، وهو المذهب الراجح المعمول به عند كافة أهل الحديث. فلا يمكن أن يقال: هؤلاء ثقات؛ لأن الذين رووا عنهم لا يروون إلا عن ثقات، لا يقولُ هذا عاقلٌ. النافلة ج ٢/ ١٤٦
