أَبَانُ بْنُ صَمْعَةَ بَصْرِيٌّ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا صَالِحُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمَدِينِيِّ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ يَحْيَى يَقُولُ: كَانَ أَبَانُ بْنُ صَمْعَةَ قَدْ تَغَيَّرَ بِآخِرَةٍ. قَالَ عَلِيٌّ: وَسَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ، يَقُولُ: أَتَيْتُ أَبَانَ بْنَ صَمْعَةَ وَقَدِ اخْتَلَطَ الْبَتَّةُ , قُلْتُ لِعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ: قَبْلَ أَنْ يَمُوتَ بِكَمْ؟ قَالَ: بِزَمَانٍ. حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ أَبِي عَنْ أَبَانَ بْنِ صَمْعَةَ فَقَالَ: صَالِحٌ، فَقُلْتُ: أَلَيْسَ تَغَيَّرَ بِآخِرَةٍ , قَالَ: نَعَمْ٢٥ -
