جعفر بن محمد بن عبد الرحيم بن أحمد بن مجون بن محمد بن حمزة العلامة ضياء الدين أبو الفضل الصعيدي الشافعي أحد الأعيان، كان بارعا في المذهب مناظرا، درس بمشهد الحسين وبمدرسة ابن النجار، وأفتى بصنعاء أربعين سنة على السداد، ومات في ثاني عشر ربيع الأول سنة ست وتسعين وست مائة بمصر، رحمه الله تعالى.
