عبد الله بن إبراهيم بن محمد بن علي الفقيه الصالح أبو محمد الهمذاني الخطيب ولد سنة خمس وأربعين، وتفقه بالنظامية على أبي الخير القزويني، وأعاد بالنظامية للشيخ أبي طالب صاحب ابن الخل، وسمع الحديث من أبي الوقت وغيره وكان فقيهًا ورعًا إماما عارفًا بالمذهب والأصول والخلاف على مذهب السلف، روى عنه ابن النجار، وعلي بن الأخضر، والجمال يحيى ابن الصيرفي، توفي فيحادي عشر شعبان سنة اثنين وعشرين وست مائة.
