مكي بن أبي محمد بن محمد ابن أبيه الدمشقي، ويعرف بابن الزجاجية كان فقيهًا فاضلا بارعًا أديبًا محصلًا، نظم كتاب المهذب للشيخ أبي إسحاق في قصيدة رائية سماها البديعة في أحكام الشريعة، وامتدح الملك العادل ووزيره ابن شكر، وروى عنه شعره الشهاب القوصي، وأثنى عليه، وذكر أنه توفي كهلًا في آخر سنة خمس عشر وست مائة.
