محمد بن إبراهيم بن أبي الفضل الإمام معين الدين أبو حامد السهلي الجاجرمي الشافعي مصنف الكفاية وإيضاح الوجيز، وله طريقة في الخلاف والقواعد مشهوران به، أقام بنيسابور مدة يدرس بها، وجاجرم بليدة من نيسابور وجرجان، وقد سمع الحديث من عبد المنعم بن عبد الله الفراوي، وحدث عنه الزكي البرزالي الحافظ، وتوفي وهو كهل في حادي عشر رجب سنة ثلاث عشرة وست مائة.
