إبراهيم بن منصور بن المسلم الفقيه العلامة أبو إسحاق المصري خطيبها المعروف بالعراقي، ولد بمصر سنة عشر وخمس مائة، وتفقه بها على القاضي أبي المعالي مجلى بن جميع، ثم رحل إلى بغداد، فتفقه بها على أبي بكر محمد بن الحسين الأرموي تلميذ الشيخ أبي إسحاق الشيرازي، ثم تفقه على أبي الحسن محمد بن الحل، وأقام بالعراق مدة حتى برع في المذهب، ثم عاد إلى بلده مصر، فلهذا قالوا له العراقي، وتولى خطابة الجامع العتيق، وتصدر شرح المهذب، وانتفع به الناس، وخرجت من تحت يده جماعة من الفضلاء، وتوفي في الحادي والعشرين من جمادى الأولى سنة ست وتسعين وخمس مائة، عن خمس وثمانين سنة ﵀.
