محمد بن عبد الملك بن محمد أبو حامد الإسفراييني ثم الجوسقاني وجوسقان محلة من إسفرايين، تفقه على أبي حامد الإسفراييني ببغداد، وسمع الحديث من أبي عبد الله الحميدي الحافظ، قال فيه أبو سعد السمعاني: هذا هو إمام فاضل متدين حسن السيرة قليل الاختلاط بالناس، ثم روى عنه بيتين لغيره.
