نصر الله بن منصور بن سهل أبو الفتوح الدويني ودوين من آخر أعمال أذربيجان مما يلي الروم الحيري الفقيه الشافعي قدم ببغداد، فتفقه بالنظامية على أبي حامد الغزالي، وسمع بنيسابور من أبي الحسن المديني، وأبي بكر أحمد بن سهل السراج، وعبد الواحد ابن القشيري، وتفقه عليه القاضي كمال الدين الشهرزوري، وروى عنه أبو سعد السمعاني وانتخب عليه جزأين، وقال: كان فقيهًا صالحًا مستورًا، وقال: مات ببلخ في أواخر رمضان سنة ست وأربعين وخمس مائة.
