يحيى بن محمد بن أحمد بن محمد بن أحمد بن القاسم بن إسماعيل بن طاهر الضبي المحاملي البغدادي الشافعيكان بارعا في المذهب له مصنف في الفقه، وكان يجاور بمكة ويتردد إلى بغداد، وكان كثير العبادة، سمع ابن النقور، وابن المسلمة، وعنه أبو القاسم الدمشقي، وأبو المعمر الأنصاري، توفي بمكة في جمادى الآخرة سنة ثمان وعشرين وخمس مائة.
