منصور بن محمد بن محمد بن محمد بن الطيب بن عبد الله بن جعفر بن محمد بن عمر بن علي بن أبي طالب الهاشمي العلوي الفاطمي العمري أبو القاسم الهروي قال أبو سعد السمعاني: كان جليل القدر عظيم المنزلة، فقيهًا مناظرا أحد الزهاد الأذكياء، حسن الكلام مليح المحاورة عارفا بالأمور الجليلة والدقيقة، من رجال الزمان وأجلهم، وكلماته سائرة بين الناس يتداولونها في المذاكرة، مات سنة سبع وعشرين وخمس مائة ذكره ابن الصلاح ﵀.
